How FOXBOX Transformed a 4000-Employee Company's Diwali Gifting Program
Last year, we had a client who used to distribute a Diwali gift worth Rs 2000 to their 5000 employees. The gift was selected by the corporate team after internal discussions and then distributed through their offices to staff employees.
Since we were handling their other gifting programs, we proposed the FOXBOX Rewards platform for Diwali gifting. Now, instead of one gift, each employee had a choice of three gifts. The options included electronics, household appliances, and a bag. For the client, the budget remained fixed. Only these three options were provided to employees in this new scenario.
Employees could log in using their company email ID and an OTP was sent to their email. They could then simply select one of the products and check out. They entered their address; we had pre-filled the office address in the delivery section. This way, we collected choices from 5000 employees over one week.
Once data was collected, the FOXBOX team placed orders with brands and delivered them to the customer. The whole program, including data collection, order placement, and delivery, was handled seamlessly by FOXBOX.
Interestingly, the selection data showed that over 40% of the employees chose appliances, another 40% chose bags, and 20% chose electronics. This highlights that employees have varied needs. If all receive one standard product, it may not motivate them equally, even though the company is spending Rs 2000 per employee. The platform allows companies to provide choices to employees so that they can redeem their most favored Diwali gifts. In the end, both the company and employees are satisfied.
For the company, the hassle of collecting data, coordinating with employees, placing orders, fulfilment, and customer service is all avoided, saving precious time for managers.
